Technical documentation

Documentation systems for software and infrastructure teams: user guides, API references, runbooks and internal knowledge, structured so people find answers instead of opening tickets.

Docs-as-code · Diátaxis · product docs · SOC and ops runbooks · English and French

Through ScribeOps, the company I founded in 2025, a small bilingual team of senior writers builds and maintains documentation for software and infrastructure companies.

What we do

  • Documentation audits and gap analysis.
  • Product documentation: tutorials, how-tos, references, explanations, in the Diátaxis structure.
  • Operations documentation: runbooks, procedures, SOC playbooks, support knowledge bases.
  • Docs-as-code setups (Git, Markdown/AsciiDoc, static sites) that engineers accept.
  • Ongoing maintenance plans, so the docs stay true after release three.

Who it's for

SaaS and API companies, hosting and data-centre providers with products and a support team, teams whose knowledge lives in one person's head.
